These terms apply when you engage us for compliance advisory work or enrol in training through this site.

1. Who you are contracting with

VinfraSec Services India Ltd, a subsidiary of Virtual Infrastructure Services LLC. Registered office: 603A, 6th Floor, PSR Prime Tower, Gachibowli, Hyderabad 500032.

2. What we are, and what we are not

We are a compliance engineering and readiness consultancy. We are not a CERT-In empanelled auditor, and we do not issue the audit certificates that CERT-In, the RBI or NCIIPC require. We prepare you to pass that audit and can work alongside the empanelled auditor you appoint, but the audit opinion is theirs and must be independent of us.

Likewise, for training: we are an accredited ISACA Training Organization, not ISACA. ISACA sets and marks its own exams and makes the certification decision.

3. Scope and what a fixed price assumes

Every fixed-price engagement is quoted against a written scope: a defined number of sites, systems and applications, stated at the time of quoting. If what we find on the ground differs materially from what was described, we will tell you before doing the work and issue a revised quote. We will not carry out unscoped work and invoice you for it afterwards.

4. What we cannot promise

We cannot promise a clean audit, a particular finding, a certificate, or that a regulator will accept a given approach. Regulatory expectations under the DPDPA 2023, CERT-In directions, the RBI Master Direction on IT and the NCIIPC guidelines evolve, and some are matters of supervisory judgement. What we promise is competent work against the standard as it stands, and honest advice about where it is unsettled.

5. Your responsibilities

You give us timely access to the people, systems and documents the work needs, and you tell us the truth about your environment. Work stalled waiting on access may be rescheduled. Decisions about your business, and the accountability a regulator places on you, remain yours.

6. Payment

Fees are in Indian rupees unless the engagement letter says otherwise and are exclusive of GST, which is charged at the applicable rate. Invoices are due within 15 days. Fixed-price advisory work is invoiced 50% at kick-off and 50% on delivery unless agreed otherwise. Training is paid in full before the cohort begins.

7. Cancellation and refunds

• Advisory, before fieldwork begins: full refund of anything paid.
• Advisory, after fieldwork begins: pro-rated to the work completed, and you keep every deliverable produced up to that point.
• Training, more than 7 days before the first session: full refund.
• Training, within 7 days: full refund less any exam voucher or membership already issued in your name.
• Training, after the first session: no refund; one transfer to a later cohort within 12 months.

8. Confidentiality

What we see inside your environment stays confidential, indefinitely, and is used only to do your work. We will not name you as a client publicly without your written consent. If we are compelled by law to disclose something, we will tell you first unless we are forbidden from doing so.

9. Ownership of deliverables

Reports, assessments and documentation we produce for you are yours once paid for. Our underlying methods, templates and tooling remain ours.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, regulatory penalties, or the cost of a failed audit.

11. Non-solicitation

For 12 months after an engagement ends, neither side will directly solicit the other's staff who worked on it. This does not restrict open public advertising.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes

The terms in force are those published when you engaged us. The date at the top says which those are.
